05/04/2025 Currently Toshiba Railway Europe is conducting the dynamic commissioning of the Toshiba HDB 800 at Alstom Hennigsdorf site with the type tests to be followed afterwards. Since multi-traction is an important feature of the HDB 800 – impressively up to four Toshiba HDB 800 locomotives can later be connected in normal operation – double traction drives, as seen in the picture, are part of the testing.
